Awaré
French design duo Awaré is formed by artist Sylvia Eustache Rools and sculptor Jérôme Pereira. Sylvia first trained in textile arts at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris and is fascinated by archaeological and geological phenomena. Jérôme studied physics and geophysics before turning to sculpture. A combination of their scientific background and intuitive, sensorial approach has seen their work exhibited in galleries around the world and win several awards.
