Kohei Ukai

Living and working in the UNESCO designated city of crafts, Kanazawa, artist Kohei Ukai was trained at the Kanazawa College of Art, specialising in wood crafts and lacquerwork. Seeking to celebrate the primitive vitality of his materials, Ukai’s work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions in Japan and China.
