Oskar Gustafsson
A sculptor based in Bottna, Sweden, Oskar Gustafsson’s work circulates around humanity’s relationship to the materiality of nature. Trained in stone carving by Norwegian artist Peder Istad, he has a BFA in Wood Oriented Furniture Design from the HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design at Gothenburg University and studied woodwork at Stenebyskolan. His creations often emulate the intersection and redefinition of different bodies – from human to land and tree – through unconventional experimentation.
