Kira Kim

After studying ceramics at Hongik University, Kira Kim subsequently shifted her focus to glassmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design. On returning to Korea in 1989, she became instrumental in the Studio Glass Movement. Her work explores the space between the illusory and real through the constant rearrangement of objects and ideas.
