Kenji Honma

Born in Tokyo as the second son of lacquer artist Yukio Honma, woodturning artist Kenji Honma completed his first apprenticeship under Eiho Tsuji in 1997. Appointed as head of the OGIBO workshop in Hitachi Omiya in 2001, he trained under the tutelage of Haro Sato from the Japanese Urushi Tapping Preservation Society.
