Jongjin Park
With a BFA, MFA and PhD from Kookmin University and an MA in Ceramics from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Jongjin Park’s work merges the discipline of craft with a conceptual approach of collectable design. Exploring the boundaries between material truth and illusion, his oeuvre delves into the way the hand of material intelligence continues to be redefined against the imposing swell of artificial intelligence. Recent collaborations with luxury houses, fashion brands and auto companies reflect a longstanding interest in bridging traditional craft with design culture and technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor Major of Craft & Collectable Design at Seoul Women’s University.
