Ferne Jacobs

By reinventing traditional basket-making techniques in the 1960s, Ferne Jacobs innovated the field of fibre art, a genre that she continues to evolve. Her sculptures have appeared in museum and gallery exhibitions across the globe including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
