Fernando Casasempere

b.1958: Casasempere works with clay, ceramics and industrial matter, redefining the possibilities of these materials for contemporary sculpture. His work is included in permanent collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum, London; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Harvard Museum, Cambridge; Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam; Contemporary Art Museum, Osaka and International Museum of Ceramics, Faenza. His installations have been exhibited at Somerset House, London, 2012 and New Art Centre, Salisbury, 2005 and recent exhibitions include Parafin Gallery, London; Tomio Koyama Gallery, Tokyo; Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Santiago and Frieze Sculpture Park, London.
